Thomas Tuckley

This
photograph was provided by Joan Tuckley a decendent of Thomas Tuckley. Thomas
a Nailer was born Coleshill 1770 and died Coleshill 1860. The
negative was on a Glass slide probably taken in the 1850's. This is
probably the earliest photograph of a Tuckley in existence. Thomas
was a very tall man,over 6 foot, he needed to wear glasses in old
age and is buried in the churchyard of St Peter and Paul, Coleshill. |

This
photograph was provided by Sue Parkes a descendent. Thomas
Tuckley was born in Lane Head, Willenhall in 1815. He died in lane
Head in 1890. He became a Master
locksmith and the Company that he started continued in business
until 1970. More details
